Nearbyfeed

NearbyFeed is a platform where users can share posts, updates, and insights, creating discussions and engaging with others in their community. What makes it unique is that posts are tied to specific locations—others can only see and interact with your posts if they are physically near the spot where you shared them. This keeps conversations focused on local and real-time topics.

• Architected and developed full-stack features such as user authentication, geolocation-based posts, social interactions, media uploads, and profile management
• Optimised front-end performance through lazy loading, optimistic updates, and strategic caching
• Built a scalable NestJS/PostgreSQL RESTful API with real-time updates and JWT session management
